Affectionately Yours Bag

When I buy DSP stacks I know there will be at least one sheet that I am not crazy about. So I am making it a goal to find ways to use those sheets and not let them stack up. For this project I stamped over a sheet from the Affectionately Yours stack. For the bag in the photo above I used Calypso Coral and Peekaboo Peach with spots of Emerald Envy. In the video I am using the other side of the sheet and stamping with Night of Navy and Dapper Denim.

Supplies

6 x 6 inch DSP
Perfectly Wrapped stamp set
Ink - Calypso Coral, Peekaboo Peach, Emerald Envy
         Night of Navy, Dapper Denim
Tree Builder Punch

Score on the long side @ 1 3/4, 2 3/4, 4 1/2, 5 1/2
Score on the short side @ 1, 5, 5 1/2

The bag is perfect for small treats. For any of the supplies used or other Stampin Up products please visit my online store here.

Perfectly Wrapped Shaker Box

Shaker cards are so much fun to make and give but I really prefer making 3D projects. So I decided to combine the two and make a very sturdy 2 x 2 x 4 inch box that is tapered at the top. I kept the decoration on the box very simple to put the focus on the shaker component.

I created a small plastic bag to hold the sequins using a fusing tool but you can do the same thing using acetate and double sided tape. I demonstrate that technique in the video so if you don't have a fusing tool not to worry.

The supplies needed are:

8 1/2 x 9 1/2" cardstock - I used Sweet Sugarplum and Dapper Denim by Stampin Up
Scrap of a coordinating color cardstock for the ring - I used Rich Razzleberry and Emerald Envy
Scrap of Whisper White for stamping
Daffodil Delight for the bird
Sequins
Magnets
Bird Builder Punch
1/2" circle punch
Glue Dots
Fuse
Double Sided Tape
2 pieces acetates 1 7/8 x 2 1/4
Simply Scored Board
Steel Ruler

Score on the long side @ 2, 6 and 6 1/2
Score on the short side @ 2, 4, 6, 8 and score from the second horizontal score line at 3 and 7 down to about the 6 1/2 inch mark on the side ruler of your score board. Remove the paper from the score board and score from the bottom of the partial score lines to each corner form a triangle.  See the video for details on the partial scoring.

It is almost summer break and the kids will be out of school. So time to get that package off to the grandchildren with little boxes and bags to open and fun things to do. This box holds a pack of Trident Bubblegum! How many chews until you can't taste it anymore? Start counting.

Love You Lots Treat Bag

It is nice to have some treat bags ready  to fill at a moments notice but the problem is storage. Today's project is a nicely sized bag that will hold a good sized bag of treats or a small gift and the best part is it stores flat. Add that to how fast I can make a dozen of these bags and I have a winner.

The supplies needed are:

6 x 12 inch DSP - I used Stampin Up Affectionately Yours from the new 2016 - 2017 catalog
Scrap of coordinating cardstock for punching - I used Mint Macaron
Scrap of Whisper White for stamping
Ribbon
Twine
Snail or adhesive of your choice
Simply Score Board
2" circle punch
2 3/8" scalloped circle punch (retired)
1/4" handheld circle punch
Love You Lots Stamp Set
Black Archival Stamp Pad
Mint Macaron Stamp Pad

Score the long side at 5 and 7 inches
Score the short side at 1 1/2 and 4 1/2
The few extra folds at the top of the bag jazz it up a bit but are not necessary. The video will demonstrate making the folds.

Make the bags in a variety of papers and colors and you will always have some special packaging on hand for those last minute gifts.

Confetti Celebration Gift Card Holder

Graduations, weddings, birthdays and other special occasions are the perfect time for giving gift cards. Today we will create a wallet holder for all of those gift cards you will be giving to special people.

The holder looks like it would be more complicated than it really is. You can get two holders from one sheet of cardstock and each wallet will hold two gift cards or a gift card and a small card.

Stampin Up supplies used:

4 1/4 x 11 Peekaboo Peach cardstock
3/4 x 5 1/2 in Peekaboo Peach Cardstock for belly band
3 x 4 inch Peekaboo Peach for punches
3 x 3 inch Whisper White for stamping
Peekaboo Peach ink pad
DSP - 1 1/2 x 3 1/2 and 2 x 3 1/2 (I used Wildflower Fields which is retired)
Large oval punch
Adhesive
Confetti Celebration stamp set
2" circle punch
2 3/8" scallop circle punch (Stampin Up had retired the scalloped punches but the new framelits will work perfectly.)

Score on the long side @
1 3/4, 2, 4 1/4, 6 1/2, 8 3/4
Score on the short side @
1/4 turn 180 degrees and score at 1/4

If you want to make the small card to go inside use a 3 x 4 inch piece of cardstock scored on the long side at 2".

Affectionately Yours Lipstick Box

This little box started life as a way to gift wrap a tube of lipstick and coordinate with a Thank You card. But when decided to to post the box directions I wanted it to have some alternative uses. Sitting on my desk was a bottle of Stampin Up reindeer and as I slipped the bottle inside of the box I knew this would be the perfect content for the box. A great way to give a fellow stamper, a customer or downline a gift of their favorite color ink.

The Thank You card that matches the original box can also be found on my blog.

I am using new products from Stampin Up for both of the boxes.

Supplies:

4 1/4 x 5" cardstock - I used Crumb Cake and Night of Navy
Scraps for punching - Night of Navy and Peekaboo Peach
Whisper White for stamping
4 pieces of 3/4 x 2 3/4" DSP, 2 pieces 1/2 x 3/4" DSP - I used Affectionately Yours
Adhesive
Score Board
Itty Bitty Accent Flower Punch (retired)
Petite Petals Punch
Rhinestones
Mini Clothes Pin

Score on the short side at 1, 2, 3,4
Score on the long side at 1, 4, 4 1/2

Add DSP to all four sides.
