Smitten Mitten Mini Tic Tac Holder

A cute mitten box to hold mini Tic Tags. I think a basket full of these by the front door for guests to grab as they leave your holiday get together would be very festive. This is a good assembly line project that doesn't take a lot of supplies.

Trim Your Stocking Lip Balm Holder

A cute stocking stuffed with lip balm makes a perfect gift or stocking stuffer for the teens on your list.

Supplies: All supplies are from Stampin Up.

Cardstock: Real Red 4 x 11 and 3 1/2 x 3
                Garden Green 2 x 2
                Whisper White 2 x 4

DSP: Quilted Christmas 3 x 6

Score the 4 x 11 cardstock on the long side at 5 1/8, 5 1/2 and 5 7/8
Score the 3 x 3 1/2 cardstock on the long side at 3/4, 1 1/2, 2 1/4, 3 and on the short side at 3/4

For the larger stocking you need a piece of cardstock that measure 4 x 12. Score on the long side at 5 5/8, 6, 6 3/8. The rest of the construction is the same as the smaller stocking.

What is better than a cup of hot cocoa on a cold winter night? Giving it as a gift in a cute cup/box! The project is quick and easy. These sweet cups could make a great little gift to give out after an evening of caroling or tree trimming.

Jingle Bell Gift Box

A sweet smelling little box filled with Yankee Candle tea lights. I'm gold embossing some paper to use for die cutting in this project. A handy technique to use when you don't have any metallic cardstock on hand.

A pretty table gift that is quick to make. These little jars would look great on a Thanksgiving table as a thank you gift for your guests.

Swirly Snowflakes Gift Bag

 A nice sized gift bag that to me has a Scottish feel. So I think I will be using it to give homemade shortbread at the holidays. If you do use it for homemade treats be sure to put the goodies in food save bags.

Snowflake Sentiments Gift Tag Box

Today I am starting a three part series to create a beautiful gift box that holds gift cards and gift tags. This would be a lovely gift for a tree trimming party or a gift wrapping get together. Do be sure to gift it early so the recipient can use it for holiday wrapping.  

Today I will be demonstrating the gift cards. The video is in real time so you can see how quick it is to make this project. 

Supplies: All supplies are from Stampin Up

Cardstock: 8 1/4 x 11 Whisper White
                  8 1/2 x 4 Whisper White
                  (3) 2 1/2 x 21/2 Garden Green
                  (3) 2 1/2 x 21/2 Cherry Cobbler
                  2 x 7 Garden Green
                  2 x 7 Cherry Cobbler

DSP: Be Merry (6) 2 1/4 x 2 1/4

Ink: Cherry Cobbler an Garden Green

Stamp Set: Festive Phrases

Punches: 1 1/2 and 1 3/4 circle punch

With the 8 1/4 x 11 cardstock score on the long side at 2 3/4. Turn 180 degrees and score at 2 3/4.
With the alongside at the top of your trimmer cut at 5 1/2
Put the cut piece in the trimmer long side at the top and cut at 2 3/4 slide and cut again at 2 3/4. Repeat with the other piece. See the video for complete directions.
